Summary
Walinga USA manufactures highly specialized trailers for hauling animal feed and grains. Each trailer is designed and built to meet individual customer specifications. The Production Worker will have a primary role in the "Finishing Department" within our manufacturing facility that builds these trailers. This worker will operate as part of the finishing team who is responsible to install a variety of customer specific options. The options selected will require the assembly and installation of auger systems, hydraulic control valves, hydraulic hoses, pneumatic controls, 12V electrical controls and wiring, mudflaps, and other fit-and-finish items. This position is a good fit for individuals who either have experience with general mechanics, or for those who aspire and strive to increase their mechanical skill level.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Read trailer specification sheet to understand customer requirements
- Build and install hydraulic control valves
- Install electrical junction boxes, wiring, and lighting
- Install pneumatic valves and run air lines
- Install augers and hydraulic motors
- Support finishing team to balance work center loads
- Work area to be kept clean and organized
The following is a plus:
Former experience in hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical systems
Have own tools
On the job training will be provided
Other Requirements
Ability to occasionally lift over 50 lbs
Ability to stand, bend, and twist throughout shift period
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
