Position Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Location: Lewisburg, Tennessee
POSITION SUMMARY:
Job duties as follows: The Industrial Maintenance Technician will provide safe and timely mechanical and electrical support for industrial manufacturing machines. Support will involve preventative maintenance, installation, service, repair, troubleshooting, and problem resolution. The ideal candidate will have mechanical and electrical experience, a familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics, and have basic troubleshooting experience with proven ability of machine repair.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: (Desired Experience / Skills)
- Must be educationally certified through a tech or trade school beyond High School
- Experience working in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment
- Die Casting or equivalent is a plus
- A strong desire to advance within the facility
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Maintenance Connection or equivalent computerized maintenance management system experience is a plus
- Monitor safety aspects and awareness, including walk-throughs, audits and submission of safety related work orders.
- Offer contingent on passing background screening and drug screen.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

- 10 years’ experience as Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing facility
- Solid understanding and knowledge of electrical and mechanical processes and principles
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office, applications, databases and interfacing
- Basic understanding of programming with Allen Bradley and Control Techniques
- Ability to understand Auto CAD drawings
- Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate with outside vendors including input of Purchase Orders
- Demonstrated ability to fabricate machine parts from drawings for equipment builds
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Must have project management skills
- An operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery which includes; motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial / electronic controls and power transmission systems.
- A good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- A strong PLC trouble shooting and problem solving ability with practical, mechanical, & electrical aptitude.
- Must be able to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Must be fully computer literate with Microsoft environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a mature and professional manner.
- Ability to work various shifts / overtime / days per week.
