Walker & Dunlop Investment Partners (WDIP) is a real estate private equity firm that manages capital on behalf of endowments, foundations, pension plans, private funds, insurance companies, family offices, and high net worth individuals. WDIP invests debt and equity capital in value-added, opportunistic, distressed, and special situation transactions through a series of private funds, joint ventures, and separately managed accounts.

This role will assist in carrying out various finance activities in support of maximizing the success of WDIP’s investment vehicles. This includes a focus on accurate and timely deliverables.
Primary Responsibilities
- Fund Administration; calculation of management fees, review of third-party administrators’ deliverables including capital call and distribution notices, management of fund cash and subscription lines of credit, including compliance certificates and renewal applications.
- Aggregation and calculation of fund and asset-specific performance metrics in support of investor due diligence and reporting. Maintaining Fund, Limited Partner, and General Partner financial models and projections.
- Corporate Finance and FP&A; assist with company budgeting and forecasting. Calculation of company operating metrics and ad hoc analyses.
- Work closely with a senior associate on special projects in support of strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
- Collaborate with other members of Operations including Accounting, Investor Relations, and Asset Management.
- This position will report to the Chief Financial Officer.
- Attendance is generally 8:30 am – 5:30 pm MST, Monday through Friday with the ability to work up to 3 of those days remotely.
- Bachelors degree required, in finance or economics preferred
- MBA preferred
- 1 year financial modeling experience with Excel
- Advanced Excel modeling skills are required
- Basic understanding and ability to interpret financial metrics including IRR and Equity Multiple
- Quantitative and detail-oriented skills
- The ability to synthesize information from several sources into concise and coherent conclusions
- Ability to show ownership of your work, take on challenges and acknowledge growth opportunities, and demonstrate patience when learning new processes
- A growth mindset that embraces new experiences and drives operational efficiencies
