Walker Elliott is working with a growing upstream oil and gas company based in Houston, TX and they are looking to hire Business Development Reservoir Engineer. With a strong focus on expanding their acreage in Texas, they are positioned for significant growth and looking for talented individual to help them achieve their goal.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate potential acquisition opportunities to expand the company's acreage portfolio in Texas
- Conduct reservoir engineering studies, including reserves estimation, production forecasting and economic analysis
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify emerging opportunities
- Assist in the negotiation of purchase
- Assess the viability of new opportunities
Requirements:
- Degreed
- 8 yrs. recent in reservoir work with the focus in BD, A&D, M&A
- Evaluations in L-48
- Strong analytical skills
- ARIES, Spotfire proficiency
