Wallboard Specialties is a construction company looking for a full-time administrative assistant. Pay rate ranges from $18 to $20 an hour based on experience.
Supervisor: Sandra Stevens; Office Manager
Schedule: Monday – Thursday: 8:30-5:00 & Friday: 8:30-4:00
Duties:
- Answer phones
- Enter invoices daily
- Match credit card statements to receipts & enter charges into database
- Keep track of office supplies
- Correct employee time
- Communicate information to subcontractors
- Prepare subcontractor payments
- Keep employee records up to date
- Filing, faxing, copying and other administrative duties.
Required Skills:
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) encouraged
- Accounting experience beneficial but not necessary
- Strong time-management skills: ability to multi-task/manage multiple projects
- Quick learner, adaptable to change and fast-moving environment
- Self-Motivated
- Organized
- Computer literacy
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Able to maintain company records/files and ensure safekeeping and confidentiality.
- Able to communicate effectively and tactfully, verbally and written, both internally and externally
