Overview:
The ideal candidate will be comfortable overseeing the entire operation of the construction site. Should be able to determine and address any risk areas in order to maintain the safety of workers. The candidate should be experienced in communicating project milestones with clients and other parties.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and supervise all construction activities
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors
- Review project plans, specifications, and schematics
- Implement and maintain project documentation
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and resolve issues promptly
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management preferred. High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role
- Proficiency in construction schedule software (Microsoft Project) preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols
- Strong understanding of budgeting, contract management, and quality control processes
