What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Walloon Lake Inn?
Description and duties:
- Welcome, greet and make guests feel comfortable and valued for the duration of their visit
- Accurately answer questions regarding the food and beverage products we offer, as well as how such products are prepared
- Serve and mix beverages for guests, directly or through Vintage Restaurant Servers
- Practice safe/sanitary food handling procedures
- Perform all necessary side work
- Maintain cleanliness of bar area
- Assist fellow bartenders, servers and bus persons as situations arise and/or tables require clearing or resetting
- Prepare final bill, present check to guest, properly reconcile guest payment
- Check identification of guests to verify age requirement prior to serving alcohol
- Clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment
- Exhibit sound and accurate judgment and problem solving skills
- Stock bar with appropriate supplies
- Attempt to limit liability related to guest intoxication
- Keep accurate account of monies in cash drawer
Qualifications:
Applicants must be 18 years old
Must have previous bartending experience at a full service bar
Must possess spirit, wine, and beer knowledge
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training expected
Must be available to work night, weekends and holidays

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
