Unloader/Processor (Import, Pharmacy)
This position is responsible for assisting in the operation of a department. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job related responsibilities and duties throughout the facility as assigned and/or as necessary.
Essential FunctionsA n individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without a reasonable accommodation.
A pply labels to correct location on freights/pallets/merchandise.
Provide basic maintenance to receiving equipment (e.g., cleaning, changing labels and ribbons).
Manage freight deliveries through processing, identifying, counting, separating and scanning freight; operating computer software and basic applications to track and identify freight; unloading freight from trailer manually or with power equipment; and maintaining records, logs and forms.
O rganize work area through stacking empty pallets, and moving empty pallets using a pallet jack or power equipment.
M aintain a safe work area through checking the integrity of trailers/pallets (e.g., leaks, pest infestation, trailer damage).
