Position Summary... What you'll do... The Director, Remediation is a critical role in Global Governance, Strategy, Risk & Operations that oversees the tracking, implementation, and closure of the company’s remediation commitments resulting from litigation as well as agreements with governments and government authorities. The Director, Remediation will monitor and report key metrics to leadership and facilitate discussions with cross-functional stakeholders to keep teams apprised of the company’s commitments. Additionally, the Director, Remediation will drive various projects focused on remediation resulting from ethics investigations, risk assessments, outside counsel reviews, and audits. You'll make an impact by... Overseeing the company’s commitments, including those made as a result of (1) litigation, (2) agreements with or decrees from governments or government authorities, or (3) other obligations with third parties Assisting with remediation resulting from ethics investigations, outside counsel reviews, risk assessments, and audits Coordinating with senior legal, compliance, and business stakeholders to ensure commitments are properly documented, tracked, validated, and closed Preparing reports and presentations for leadership, communicating commitments and risks, and advising of plans to close commitments and mitigate or eliminate systemic, complex, or emerging risks Analyzing and integrating trends and patterns to determine the root causes of problems and identify solutions. Overseeing the development of remediation plans to correct process gaps and deficiencies Overseeing and ensuring the timely execution of remediation plans Engaging key stakeholders in the development, execution, and evaluation of appropriate remediation plans Escalating concerns based on risk to the company and recommending plan of action for resolution to mitigate risk Providing department direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs You’ll sweep us off our feet if… You acted as a subject matter expert in identifying and mitigating enterprise risk You have experience reviewing and interpreting legal documents, including settlement documents, government agency decrees, and agreements with government authorities You have experience working with senior legal and compliance stakeholders You’ve acted as a subject matter expert in designing policies, procedures, and controls with an understanding of how to measure effectiveness You’re process-minded and look for opportunities to streamline for improved efficiency and effectiveness You have experience working in global cross-functional teams Preferred Qualifications: Accounting or law degree CPA, CIA, CFE The above information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed in the role.
