With great products and services comes great talent to support our rapid growth. We are seeking a HR & Employee Relations Manager to join our team, based in Shelby, OH! This individual is the face of Human Resources to all employees and has the primary responsibility for managing all Human Resource and Employee Relations functions, along with safety and other regulatory compliance functions. Our ideal candidate brings prior Human Resources experience along with the desire to work within agriculture.

What you’ll be doing:
Leading the talent acquisition process including: recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding
Write job descriptions and post/manage open requisitions
Onboard new employees and assist with training
Schedule initial 90-day and annual reviews for every employee
Administer benefit packages (insurance, retirement, vacation, etc.)
Maintain updated employee records and ensure compliance
Collaborate with management to maintain and update employee handbook
Work with management to understand and develop new roles
Stay informed and provide guidance to management of legal requirements regarding HR and payroll
Be an ongoing resource for employees for all pay related benefits and training questions
Collaborate with department managers and resolve employee and inter-personal issues as needed
Maintain good relationships with all employees, develop goals and career paths
Manage Safety and Regulatory compliance alongside Safety Director
Coordinate scheduling and holding safety meetings
Assist with maintaining Regulatory Compliance with FDA, ODA, and DOT
Assist with other office duties as necessary

General computer skills, including data entry and Microsoft Office proficiency.
