WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Become proficient with large machinery.
- Print, read, and understand Department policies, procedures, and directions.
- Use basic trouble shooting skills.
- Minimize machine downtime to achieve department production rates.
- Perform routine quality checks and document results to ensure consistency.
- Communicate with other teams on quality, maintenance, and production related issues to assure smooth shift transition and minimal down time.
- Stay active with frequent lifting, bending, and twisting.
- Frequently learn new technology and equipment.
- Collaborate with management to ensure schedules are met by communicating maintenance and personnel needs.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to use basic math and measuring skills.
- Ability to use problem-solving skills and appropriately apply proven solutions.
- Ability to organize tasks and ensure timely completion of assigned work.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Requires a very high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Able to lift up to 55 lbs.
- Ability to work overtime and weekend schedules as necessary.
