Metal Finisher
Responsibilities :
- Clean equipment as needed prior to changeovers or at the end of the shift.
- Finishing products by grinding deburring, filling, sanding, polishing to the quality level required: MEDIA BLASINL.
- Hand grinders, finishing equipment , finishing tumbler, etc.
- Able to work with various materials: carbon steel, aluminum and stainless steel.
- Inspect product surfaces for defects and repair applicable.
- Utilize blueprints to perform job.
Requirements:
- Lifting of materials up to 50 pounds.
- Perform basic math equations.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Ability to work in fast- paced environment.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Able to work in fast -paced quality - oriented manufacturing environment.
- Lift/ carry 0-15 lbs. constantly up 25 lbs. frequently and up 50 lbs.
- Work performed in manufacturing environment where exposure to a number of elements occurs.
