This part-time position will work with the VP of Planning & Predevelopment as well as the rest of the construction and development team. We are looking to fill this internship position immediately. Essential Duties: Assist in all phases of the development process from site selection, due diligence, planning, design, entitlement, and construction of projects as requested by supervisor.
Assist in market data collection from competitive lease rates, recent comparable sales, occupancies, rent growth, etc.
Document market dynamics by staying current on construction news, employment expansions, major capital projects, etc.
Participates in the initial site design and review process, and collects background data.
Assist in development of RFP’s. Maintains files containing Seller supplied information or Wangard acquired due diligence.
Attends project meetings, reviews consultant exhibits and updates appropriate personnel.

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
Experience in AutoCAD preferred, desire to expand skillset.
Physical Demands Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 30 pounds. The employee will be regularly required to sit; stand; walk; reach using feet, legs, back, arms and hands; talk and hear. Must possess the ability to detect auditory and/or visual alarms and be available to work as needed. Wangard Partners is compliant with ADA.
Attendance/Travel This position is a part-time hourly position and will work approximately 20 hours a week. This position also requires regular attendance and reliability.
