We are seeking a creative early education professional with strong classroom management, lesson plan development, leadership and administration skills. The role of Co-Director will require your active involvement in the day-to-day floor and front desk operations, lesson planning, engaging with the children and working closely with the staff to help them provide an outstanding experience for both children and teachers. You will have administrative and operational support from our Owner/Director as well as Assistant Director and Team Leads.
Applicants must pass a criminal background and fingerprint check, have current CPR/First Aid, and obtain a food manager's certification. Candidates with the following qualifications will be considered:
* Must be at least 21 yrs old
* Possess a Texas Director's Permit
* Minimum of at least 3 years administrative/supervisory experience in a licensed child care center or early childhood education setting
* Natural and proven ability to lead and manage people
* Thorough knowledge of Licensing Standards and Employment Laws
* Strong classroom management and curriculum implementation skills
* Proficient within Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and general computer use
* Working knowledge of Texas Rising Star requirements
* Highly responsible and history of good attendance
* Prior experience delivering a high quality service
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Computer proficiency and general office skills, cash handling and attention to detail
* Good physical condition, active lifestyle & the ability to lift 40 lbs (activities include kneeling, bending, lifting, walking)
* Capable of driving company van for student transportation as needed
* Has OWN reliable transportation
* Neat, professional appearance
