LINE DRIVER LODI, CA TO PHOENIX, AZ

Wanship is a mid-sized trucking company totaling 90 newer Peterbilt and Kenworth trucks equipped with Pre-pass and 150 Great Dane trailers with Thermo-King refrigerated-trailer units. Wanship is seeking experienced Class A CDL Drivers in our LODI, CA terminal. We are looking for dedicated, hard-working drivers who take pride and ownership in their work. We have Western Regional Routes from LODI, CA to PHOENIX, AZ 4-5 day trips $1500-$1800 per week. Weekends off!

• 2200 miles per week plus stop pay

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Operates a semi-truck according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
• Transports loads safely and in a timely manner over required route, obeying all traffic laws and observing all safety regulations.
• Deftly maneuvers truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas; follows loading crew signals.
• Safely back in to docks repeatedly during workday.
• Labels freight.
• Assists with loading of or loads and unloads goods and materials, using specialized equipment when warranted; unloads and returns all equipment to designated area.
• Maintains and uploads signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and other required paperwork using apps or technology; delivers documentation to shipping office or other appropriate staff when delivery route is complete.
• Completes routine service on trucks, which may include checking oil, water, and air; reports maintenance malfunctions to Shop Manager.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff at delivery points.
• Ability to remain focused in busy environment.
• Able to adapt to technology-based solutions.

• Minimum of 2 years verifiable Class A CDL experience required.
• No more than 3 moving violations- 3 years.
• No CHARGABLE DOT ACCIDENTS-3 years
• No “serious” violation (reckless or careless driving, DUI or failure to submit etc.) in the past 3 years.
• Class A Commercial Driver’s License required. Doubles/ Triples endorsement a plus
• Manual transmission experience
• Excellent backing skills
• Clean MVR
• Must be at least 23 years of age.
• Must be able to read and speak the English language.
• Must be able to learn and use technology-based solutions for Timekeeping, Dispatches and Logs.
