Job Posting for Assistant Program Director at WAR Ministry Corporation
WAR Ministry Corporation is a Christian not for profit organization providing services for individuals with disabilities and their families. We are seeking a like-minded individual to assist in the day to day running of our office in Newark, NJ. Interested candidates must be available to work Monday to Friday from 9am-5pm.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the management of family concerns
Interact regularly (primarily via telephone and email) with caregivers, support coordinators, insurance companies, and agency staff.
Ensure timely staffing of all service needs.
Work closely with agency staff to ensure that all level of service requirements are met
Phone screen potential new hires
Admit individuals into service programs
Aid in the growth of existing service programs
Complete all required training and attend meetings
Maintain staff files
Provide new hires with agency enrollment information
Ensure all staff records are up to date
Ensure that staff trainings are completed within proper time frame
Ensure that all certificates and licenses are current
Receive and organize billing
Produce file for bi-weekly payroll
Ensure proper documentation of all service sessions
Maintain all files of individuals being served by agency
Support Program Director in other administrative tasks
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Experience Required:
A bachelor degree in psychology, human services, or a related discipline
A minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative role (additional experience providing support services or ABA services to individuals with disabilities preferred)
Experience working with a Christian ministry focused on community service
Outstanding customer service skills
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills to work with and communicate with a wide range of people
Excellent planning, organizational, and coordinating skills
Demonstrated ability to anticipate and prioritize workload, anticipate and meet deadlines, and respond to changing priorities and workload fluctuations
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member
Demonstrated ability and organizational skills to coordinate multiple projects independently and with minimal guidance from Executive Director
Demonstrated proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications, as well as email and internet capabilities
Demonstrated ability to use web and technology management skills effectively
