What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bilingual (Spanish) Direct Support Professional position at WAR Ministry Corporation?
WAR Ministry Corporation is seeking Direct Support Professionals to work part-time providing in home and in community support services adults with developmental disabilities. Services will be delivered one-on-one in the home or community based setting.
Other essential responsibilities include:
- implement support plans for ADL skill acquisition
- Completes paperwork, including individual progress notes, and time sheets
- Assisting adults with community based activities
To be considered for this position:
- Must be over 18 years of age
- Must have high school diploma; associate degree or bachelor degree in Psychology, Education, Sociology, or related field preferred
- Must be willing and able to attend required trainings
- Must have a valid driver’s license and Abstract (not to exceed 5 points)
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass required criminal background check and fingerprinting
- Must be able to obtain medical clearance in order to provide services
- Must be CPR certified
- Must be bilingual: English/Spanish
