DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Manager of Supply Chain performs a myriad of tasks but essentially takes a hands-on approach to planning, monitoring, and controlling the supply chain and inventory activities throughout the company. Specifics include:
Synchronizing supply need against customer demand to improve months of stock (MOS) while reducing inventory investment
Own and present weekly item inventory analysis including but not limited to identification of key roadblocks, feasible solutions, & status until state of completion
Work daily with cross functional internal team members to minimize inventory shorts and develop strategies to minimize supplier and supply chain risks
Own item data lifecycle from initial item set-up to final receipt; includes but not limited to new item set-up, bill of material creation, creating item carton markings, item maintenance, & packaging ordering/maintenance
Ensure accurate input of data into Macola in-line with Ware process and procedures
Attend weekly/monthly internal and customer supply chain meetings
Serve as liaison between internal departments and external suppliers as needed
Communicate project status and give updates to internal/external stakeholders
Observe existing practices and propose improvements for process efficiency
Other duties as required
REQUIRED SKILLS/TRAITS
The best candidate will be a credible and reliable individual that will work to be a well-respected member of the Ware team. The following skills/traits are desired:
BS/BA in Supply Chain Management and 3-5 years supply chain/inventory management experience
Hands-on experience with master production scheduling/planning and inventory optimization, distribution, and order fulfillment
Comfortable presenting and working directly with executive management
Ability to problem solve and think critically using analytical skills while working on tight timelines and shifting priorities
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively while exercising sound judgement
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (i.e. pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.) as well as a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Knowledge of Macola & Forecast Pro desired
Knowledge of manufacturing industry desired

BS/BA Supply Chain Management
Supply Chain/Inventory Management: 3 years
Microsoft Excel: 5 years
