Under general supervision, Sit Down Fork Truck Operator will ensure safe and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of food products utilizing equipment including, sit down forklifts, and radio frequency equipment.
Skills
- Minimum 6 months recent sit down forklift experience
- Ability to become sit down forklift certified.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems and Radio Frequency.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- .Ability to read numbers and labels.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
- Ability to pay close attention to details and meet deadlines.
- Ability to safely lift up 50 lbs. frequently.
Responsibilities
- Promote safe work environment through personal actions.
- Load and unload trucks and containers using equipment provided in safe and efficient manner.
- Check and count freight for accuracy and/or damage. Take inventory as needed.
- Direct product to correct area in warehouse.
- . Report faulty equipment, damage to racks, and other safety hazards to supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned.
