PrimeFlight Cargo is seeking a Dock Supervisor to join our team!
As a Dock Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a team of individuals, which will include delegating tasks, negotiating workloads, assessing performance and reporting on developments. This position will help assist our Dock with inventory management, timely loading and unloading of products, and ensuring compliance.
Since the cargo business runs 24/7, weekend and night shifts are sometimes required for our team members.

Responsibilities:
- Proactively monitors the work of employees to ensure that customer satisfaction, safety, quality and relations meet or exceed standards.
- Confirm proper and timely loading and unloading of products.
- Perform various inventory counts; order supplies and goods as needed.
- Maintain dock equipment, ensuring equipment is serviced when needed and a clean and tidy workspace is always kept.
- Ensures YMS employee is checking for late arrival/late departure of loads as well as creating cases when necessary.
- Ensure all dock personnel is trained before operating dock restraints.
- Motivate and lead dock staff to effectively conduct given tasks.
- Ensuring we are in compliance with 90 day for BOL, Scale Logs, and Truck Activity Logs.30 days for 150lbs.
- Ensuring that staged loads on dock match virtually and physically prior to loading/offloading.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Experience in operational planning and resource allocation preferred.
- Previous lead experience preferred.
- Must successfully complete all training requirements and maintain certifications throughout employment.
- Must be able to read and interpret documents.
- Must be able to write reports and correspondence.
- High attention to details.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Gain a mastery of PrimeFlight ramp procedures, including aircraft guidance and cargo operations, and protocols for safety and cleanliness
Set schedules to ensure adequate coverage of all work areas
Communicate regularly with the PrimeFlight Station Management about staffing, scheduling, and procedures
Recruit, Coach, Counsel and Participating in Discipline hourly employees
Monitor workers to ensure a safe working environment and verify that PrimeFlight regulations are followed
Establish procedures to maximize worker efficiency and quality control
Attention to detail
Able to supervise workers, maintain sign-in sheets, and participate in disciplinary procedures
Demonstrate regular, predictable attendance at the job location
Exceed PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards
Carry out other duties as assigned
