Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our medical team where they will be responsible for diagnostic procedures requiring the use of equipment that produces ionizing radiation. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough knowledge of human structure and function, as well as the knowledge and skills to identify each patient’s requirement relative to their age specific needs, as well as be familiar with principles of patient care, radiographic exposure, radiation protection, and specialized technique as required for a radiologic technologist.
This position requires the ability to perform x-ray and CT scans, and experience with mammography is preferred but will train the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Conduct x-ray, CT and mammography procedures following established protocols
- Position patients and equipment to ensure accurate imaging
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment
- Assist radiologists in diagnostic evaluations
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality
- Adhere to aseptic techniques during procedures
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology program
- Radiologic Technologist registration with the State of Illinois
- ARRT Certification
- BLS Certification
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $43.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
