What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant - Weekends position at Warriors Heart?
Come join Warriors Heart in healing our nations Warriors! We treat active duty, veterans, law enforcement, firefighters, EMT/Paramedics and other 1st responders.
Pay ranges depending on experience/qualifications.
Position requires a current CMA certification.
Duties to Include but not limited to:
- provide service/support to medical staff and clients
- following proper detox protocols and greeting all detox/medical visitors
- able to take vitals, UA's, breathalyzer, pregnancy tests, etc
- knowledge of drug and alcohol addiction
- strong computer skills (word, excel, mac platforms), reports, charting, etc
- handle correspondence from different departments and outside medical agencies
- obtain medical history, manage records and referrals
- schedule appointments and maintain doctor visits
- keep supplies stocked
- assist in changeover of rooms as needed
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Experience:
- Detox: 1 year (Preferred)
- Military/ 1st Responder: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
