Warwick Dental is looking for a Full-time Dental Assistant/Clinical Partner. Essential Functions:
Assist Dentists chair side in all dental specialties, including orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, restorative, periodontics, endodontic, implants, and oral surgery.
Actively provide hand instruments and materials to Dentist, as needed, during exams and procedures in order to help maintain patient comfort and Dentist’s efficiency.
Anticipate the doctor's needs at all times, preparing in advance for the next step.
Prepare and evaluate all rooms and sterilization areas prior to patient treatment.
Complete patient records and all services for the day of treatment before patients are dismissed. This includes: scheduling next appointments, the treatment to be provided, and the time units needed to perform the treatment.
Welcome, seat, and dismiss patients cheerfully while showing care and respect for patient's well being and comfort at all times.
Instruct patients in oral hygiene and plaque control programs.
Expose dental diagnostic x-rays, fabricate temporary crowns and bridges, take impressions, etc.
Clean and polish removable appliances, following OSHA guidelines for all procedures.
Assist with dental and medical emergencies according to OSHA and office procedures.
Must always represent the practice in a professional, pleasant, and cooperative manner.
Must be able to work both independently and cooperatively in team settings.
Other duties and tasks, as assigned periodically.
Education, Qualifications, and Experience
Education/Training:
High school diploma or GED certificate
Completion of accredited course in dental assisting
2 years general dentistry experience with some specialized experience preferred, or 4 years related experience and/or training; or combination of education and experience.

Effective mathematical skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to attend to multiple tasks at the same time and to prioritize assignments and responsibilities to ensure compliance with established deadlines and protocols.
Confidentiality and discretion
Team player
Licenses, Certifications, and Registration
Oklahoma Certification from an accredited Dental Assistant Program
Dental X-Ray and Nitrous Oxide certification
BLS Certification
Physical Requirements
Sitting or standing for long periods of time, walking, finger dexterity, talking, hearing, visual acuity.
