Warwick Township, Lancaster County, is seeking qualified applicants for full-time Public Works Operator/Laborer positions. The Operator/Laborer is a member of a team which is responsible for the construction and maintenance of Township property including roads, parks, buildings, and equipment.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of three years' experience in Public Works, or a construction-related field and basic knowledge of construction practices, trench work, and mechanics. This individual must be available for on-call during winter months as evening/weekend hours will be required.

This position provides year-round employment, excellent hours, healthcare coverage, a defined benefit penion plan, and a starting rate based upon the individual's skills and knowledge.

The ideal candidate will be team oriented, at least 18 years of age, possess a valid Class B PA Commercial Driver's License, and be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical, drug screening, criminal background check, and motor vehicle record check. Candidates must also possess reliable transportation and live within 30 minutes of Warwick Township.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
