What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer/Equipment Operator position at Wasatch Covers?
We're looking for laborers, forklift operators, and/or equipment operators to join our team. We have a great atmosphere, company culture, and are looking to add dependable people to our team. The job(s) we're currently hiring for are at our Lindon UT facility. This is in a production facility helping to build both steel and aluminum window well covers. Those who prove themselves to be efficient and hard working will have the opportunity to move into a welding or production position, which is based on an efficiency pay scale that pays $15-$25/hour. If moved into a production position there is no time frame on how soon you can make a higher wage, it is explicitly based on quality and efficiency of work provided.
Starting pay is $14/hr, no experience is needed.
Work Schedule Is Monday-Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm
Duties could include:
- Assisting in inventory managing.
- Operating powder coating equipment.
- Helping to maintain a clean work environment.
- Operate forklift and practice proper forklift safety.
- Operating various types of heavy machinery, including 50 ton presses and CNC plasma cutting, milling, and bending machines.
- Using basic hand tools such as electric saws, drills, etc.
- Assisting customers with pick up orders.
- Loading outbound shipments

- Must pass regular drug test.
There are opportunities to learn how to MIG weld and move into a welding position
