As a Service Technician, you will repair washers and dryers at various customer locations. An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working independently and has a very strong mechanical aptitude.
Responsibilities :
- Service washers and dryers at apartments, laundromats, hotels, athletic facilities, etc.
- Disassembles machines and examines mechanical and electrical parts.
- Reassembles appliances, adjusts pulleys, and lubricates moving parts.
- Replaces worn or defective parts and adjusts motors.
- Cleans and washes parts.
- Advises Dispatch Department of equipment in the field that should be replaced with new equipment.
- Drives a Company vehicle to and from work locations.
Requirements :
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Good driving record.
- Customer service skills.
- Must possess effective English communication skills (oral and written). Bilingual skills (English and
Spanish) are desirable.
- Possess at least two solid years of mechanical experience and electrical knowledge (and / or training)
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and occasionally move 200 pounds or more with a dolly / hand truck.
- Prior washer / dryer repair experience is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of local area cities and streets is desirable.
