Landfill Operator
Washington County is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Landfill
Operator. Under general supervision, the purpose of the position is to operate the
County landfill. Duties include weighing incoming trucks, checking and accepting or
rejecting loads, maintaining daily logs and records; and performing varied erosion
control duties including grading, seeding/mowing grass, manual labor, etc. Performs
related work as directed.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school graduation or equivalent; supplemented by 1 - 2 years of experience
performing heavy equipment operation and manual labor; or an equivalent combination
of education, training, and experience.
Salary Information:
Salary range - $26,184 - $30,363 (DOQ)
Special Requirements
Drug test and a background investigation will be required.
