Our Information Technology Services (ITS) Division has an exceptional opportunity to apply your advanced technical skills in providing customer service to internal clients for the operation and maintenance of personal and networked computer hardware and software applications. The Senior Client Services Technician Deployment Lead performs a functional lead role providing technical guidance, scheduling of deployment resources and assistance to journey and entry level technicians, and collaborates with internal and external business and information technology groups on project initiatives.
The ideal candidate for the PC Deployment Lead position is an expert in all enterprise endpoint computer related matters including PC hardware, operating systems, drivers and software installations. This position is a collaborative technical lead who manages the computer hardware refresh life-cycle and coordinates the deployment of PC hardware. The candidate will need the ability to form strong relationships with other IT teams and our County workforce to ensure success. As someone who manages the replacement and refresh of over 600 devices a year, being organized and efficient with scheduling cross-campus installations is a core requirement for this position.

- Associate degree in computer science or closely related field of study AND three (3) years of experience providing computer hardware and software support which includes six (6) months of lead or supervisory experience, OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or closely related field of study AND one (1) year of experience providing computer hardware and software support which includes six (6) months of lead or supervisory experience, OR
- Five (5) years of experience providing computer hardware and software support which includes six (6) months of lead or supervisory experience.
