Multiple Job Openings for: POLL WORKER in the Clerk/Auditor Elections Division Part Time: $15.53 per hour Performs a variety of routine, detail oriented, working level duties associated with Elections, to fulfill statutory obligations of the County Clerk/Auditor. Hired to work on an as needed basis during election periods. Attends mandatory training sessions prior to each election; Ensures that work is conducted in a non-partisan way and in accordance with Utah Election Law; Follows verbal and written procedures and documents activities appropriately; Assist in the accurate processing of ballots; Performs various tasks essential to the voting process, including but not limited to: opening and closing voting centers, interacting with voters, operating election equipment, and handling/processing ballots. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience:
- Graduation from high school or equivalent AND
- One (1) year customer service or related volunteer experience OR
