Position Summary
This position provides administrative support in busy academic and clinical education areas in the Program in Physical Therapy. Individual is responsible for supporting assessment data organization and accuracy across multiple platforms including ExamSoft, Canvas, and Competency.AI. Position supports assessment events by proctoring and finalizing assessments for execution. Individual is responsible for coordinating clinical site contracts and managing multiple clinical databases such as EXXAT, PT-CPI Web, and myClinicalExchange. Position coordinates student information to clinical sites, coordinates onsite conferences and meetings related to clinical education, and assists with clinical site selection events.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Assists Assistant Director of Student Assessment and Program Evaluation by ensuring data quality between assessment item collection in ExamSoft, assessment events in Canvas, Competency.AI, and ExamSoft, and assessment visualization in Competency.AI. Maintains organization, completeness, and accuracy of data. Follows up with faculty members when assessment data are incomplete. Maps assessment items to competencies and keywords. Creates rubrics in Competency.AI. Supports ExamSoft and Canvas quiz/exam and assignment creation and ensures proper settings.
- Manages and maintains clinical education databases (i.e. EXXAT and CPIWeb), inputs into student onboarding software (i.e. myClinicalExchange, Clinical Placements Northwest, and others), and inputs and updates of clinical education courses in Canvas. Manages files relating to 1000 facilities. Responsible for producing a variety of reports relating to facilities, contracts, and student clinical experiences. Maintains organization, completeness, and accuracy of all data stored in Box, shared drives, PT-CPI Web, Canvas, and EXXAT.
- Coordinates clinical education site contracts for the Program, to include reviewing, securing signatures, updating of contracts, soliciting new sites, and updating/maintaining accuracy of data in EXXAT.
- Serves as liaison between the Program, to include faculty and students, and clinical sites with regard to the administrative aspects of clinical education. Performs timely and consistent communication with all clinical education sites relating to all aspects of the student clinical education experience and corresponding materials. Serves as back up to our Secretary III regarding the Early Clinical Experience components of curriculum. Assists with and attends clinical site selection events. Fits students for N95 facemasks.
- Provides support during assessment events including proctoring exams and exam review sessions, supporting performance assessment folder creation and providing back up for performance assessments, scheduling rooms for assessments and adjusting assessment settings and schedules as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned to include providing back-up support during vacations/illnesses.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience in an educational/medical environment.
- Excellent verbal, written, proofreading, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to interact professionally and courteously in a team environment with faculty, staff, students, guests, and external customers.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, accurate, thorough, and possess exceptional time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team, multi-task, and follow through on assignments to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge and use of general office machines as well as excellent computer and typing skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, database software, Outlook, and internet.
- Ability to handle confidential materials with discretion.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent high school certification.
- Three years of relevant experience.

G08-H
Salary Range
$20.15 - $31.26 / Hourly
The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
