EXEMPLARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Applies paint and other finishes to a variety of interior and exterior surfaces with roller, brush, spray equipment or striping machine; prepares materials for work, spreads drop clothes and erects rigging, scaffolding and ladders; prepares necessary masking; removes old paint, patches plaster and putties cracks and holes; tapes and textures sheetrock surfaces; applies primers; cleans brushes, rollers, spray equipment and other painting equipment; maintains work sites and equipment in safe working order; and performs related maintenance duties.
Will be required to physically perform AHERA Class III disturbances to asbestos containing building materials as directed in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local regulations. May be required to physically perform OSHA lead remediation in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local regulations. May be required to physically perform mold remediation in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local regulations.
