Property Manager
Duties:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned properties
- Handle tenant inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner
- Conduct property inspections and ensure maintenance and repairs are completed promptly
- Advertise and market available units to attract prospective tenants
- Screen potential tenants, including conducting background checks and verifying references
- Prepare and execute lease agreements and enforce lease terms
- Collect rent payments and ensure timely payment from tenants
- Maintain accurate records of income, expenses, and tenant information
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for property maintenance and repairs
- Stay updated on local rental market trends and adjust rental rates accordingly
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Property Manager or similar role
- Knowledge of property maintenance, facilities management, and fair housing regulations
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer relationship management skills
- Strong negotiation skills to handle lease agreements and vendor contracts
- Proficiency in property management software for data entry and record keeping
- Ability to handle conflict management situations effectively
