What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scale Attendant/Laborer position at Waste Connections?
We are looking for an experienced and versatile Scale House Attendant to join the team at our location in Homosassa, FL. Previous waste experience would be a huge plus!
Monday-Saturday starting at day shift typically working up to 55 hours a week. $17.50/hr DOE.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet and direct all customers and guests upon entry of the transfer station.
Track weight information from scale to computer system and get appropriate signatures.
Calculate payments for customers.
Reconcile day's sales transactions.
Ensure incoming customer's material is acceptable, safe and does not contain any inappropriate items.
Communicate regularly with all employees and customers.
Approach all encounters with employees, customers, and vendors in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
Direct vendors, customers, and guests to follow Site Operating Plan.
Participate in cleaning work area, common areas, and equipment.
Assist with keeping facility free of litter and debris.
Follow opening and/or closing procedures.
Perform other assigned duties that maintain compliance with Site Operating Plan.
