What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Analyst - Sales position at Wastequip?
Yearly Salary Range - $60,000 to $68,000
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists and improves customer inquiries through managing customers account information, and manually updating or retrieving account records.
- Maintains an updated customer database and verifies accuracy of data.
- Takes ownership and provides customer service support, troubleshoots customer issues, utilizes product line expertise to drive recommendations, and escalates issues, as necessary.
- Research customer service errors, analyzes root cause of the issue, and makes suggestions to improve performance.
- Manages change processes, understands implications of data quality, measures cost and benefits of data quality, and detects and corrects errors in databases through root-cause analysis.
- Maintains internal and external customer databases.
- Reviews and interprets Customer Vendor Compliance requirements and extracts information pertinent to Logistics-related activities.
- Delivers prompt and professional solutions for customer inquiries via phone, email, online chat etc.
Experience/ Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, MIS, Statistics, Marketing or Economics preferred but not required.
- Ability to think on your feet and take initiative.
- 2-3 years' experience in Manufacturing/Auto/Truck repair Operations with proven commitment to fairness and exceptional customer service.
- Knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Dynamic Array Functions, Power Query Dax, SQL and relational databases.
- Minimum of 1 year in an analytical position, with proven, advanced MS Excel and database queries.
