Description
Coordinate and direct all machine, building and grounds preventive maintenance, repairs and renovations. Perform, schedule preventive maintenance on the entire facility to include but not limited to production equipment. Assure documentation is generated and maintain for PM and repairs, as well as storm water and EHS data. This position will report directly to Plant Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Create a team environment by actively and effectively communicating with all team members, fostering ownership and accountability within area of responsibility and throughout facility while visibly demonstrating the core values of Wastequip.
- Verify all maintenance work.
- Keep a maintenance log of all machine and equipment repairs and maintenance.
- Purchases spare parts and maintenance items as needed.
- Control equipment downtime by conducting Inspections and repairs outside of peak production hours.
- Maintain and update the project list.
- Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred.
- 4-5 years manufacturing maintenance experience.
- Adept at establishing and contacting vendors for equipment and repair.
- 1 years of lead experience
- Capable of scheduling assignments for maintenance technicians.
