Primary Function
The Tooling Department Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the tooling manager as needed. Common tasks will include tracking inventory, preparing reports, assembling and placing purchase orders and other tasks related to the Company's small tools program.
Educational Background
Two-Year Associates Degree in related field preferred - High School Diploma considered.
Practical Knowledge Applied
Administrative Procedures, Basic Bookkeeping Principals, Basic Procurement Methods, Document Control Methods, Business Writing
Work Experience
Minimum 1 year of administrative or bookkeeping experience in construction or manufacturing setting or equivalent.
Computer Skills Needed
Proficiency using Microsoft Office Products like Excel and Word, ability to navigate Cloud Based Applications and learn Enterprise Resource Planning Software and Reporting Tools used by the company.
Successful Personality Traits
Organized, pro-active, and flexible support person with a keen eye for detail, the ability to work independently to adapt to change when necessary. Common sense, and intuitive nature, an open mind, creativity, and strong communication skills are also essential.
