Job Description
Candidate must possess strong organizational and communication skills to supervise staff and interact with our geriatric residents. Responsibilities include supervising/training staff and assisting with the operations of the Food Service Department. Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the Food Service Department, its programs and activities. Inspect food storage rooms, utility/janitorial closets, etc., for upkeep and supply control. Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of food and non-food supplies. Assist in food purchasing and receiving including monitoring expenditures and cost controls. Assist in developing methods for determining quality and quantity of food. Must be available Weekends.
