Job Posting for Operations Implementation Specialist for Large Medical Group at Water's Edge Dermatology
The Clinical Integration Specialist at Aqua Dermatology has responsibility for migrating acquired/partner practices to the standard AQUA Dermatology EMR system. This role requires a candidate to possess advanced clinical operations knowledge, strong communication skills, dynamic thinking and problem-solving skills, and the ability to guide teams through the complex process of changing EMR systems.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Assessing the processes between the Acquired/Partner practice and the AQUA standard for all clinical operations including but not limited to clinical scribing, clinical triage, clinical office flow, clinical related functions such as pathology workflows, general understanding of billing principals, and how clinical functions tie to front desk and RCM functions.
Develop understanding of acquisition/partner current PM/EMR system to accurately develop transition plans to AQUA Standard system.
Develop and document process gap closure project plan.
Coordinate with leadership to develop project plans and determine if any operational exceptions exist to take into consideration for Integration.
Assist in development of training plan and curriculum for practice staff.
Attend all on-site trainings either as moderator or lead trainer dependent upon subject matter.
Provide virtual training sessions both pre and post Integration.
Assist in management of migration activities.
Support all efforts around Go-Live dates including EMR Support consultants, staff announcements, on-site support, and virtual support.
Provide ongoing support to Operations staff and leadership post Go-Live as needed.
Assist in other various processes of integration to bring the acquisition/partner practice onto the AQUA business platform.
Qualifications:
Subject matter expertise in clinical operations, documentation requirements, the full cycle of the life of a patient, and basic RCM functions.
5 years’ experience working with advanced EMR systems.
Ability to train diverse staff and help bridge understanding of processes from one software system to another.
Outstanding communication, interpersonal abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Basic project management skills.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Dermatology or Plastic Surgery
Experience with Modernizing Medicine in EMR and PM functional areas.

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Travel:
Extensive travel is required for this position throughout the US Southeast, up to 50%.
