What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host position at Water Street Waffle Company?
Are you currently in high-school and looking for a weekend job that gives you the night off?? Water Street Waffle Co. is looking for a friendly and organized Host . The Host will be the first point of contact for guests, providing a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Duties:
- Greet guests with a warm welcome and seat them accordingly
- Manage waitlists using the POS system
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host stand and lobby area
- Answer phone calls with professionalism
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Provide assistance to guests as needed
Our establishment runs on high-volume weekends which means the waitlist and times are usually long. Although we are requiring restaurant experience we are willing to train if needed.
