Water Tech Energy Services is looking to hire an Account Manager in our Western/Central Arkansas region to service our oil and gas clients.
Summary of Position:
The Account Manager is responsible for all Sales & Consulting activities within their scope of opportunities. The ideal candidate will have well head production chemical sales and field-testing experience. Responsibilities include managing existing accounts, promotion, and sales of chemical solutions to new and existing customers and delivering outstanding customer service. This position requires a high emphasis on OSHA’s required safety standards.

- Manage and grow sales in their immediate geography
- Manage existing customer base to WTES standards
§ This includes inventory management, service reports, fostering good personal relationships with all necessary customer employees, and any other practices that aid in retaining existing customers
- Identify new prospects, make direct calls, and close new business
- Continuously improve technical/product knowledge on new products, procedures, services, and tools by attending departmental and training meetings
- Achieve sales and profit goals established at DOH within flexible expectations depending on experience in the industry
- Maintain accounts effectively providing written Service Reports and any necessary documentation to promote effective communication
- Provide technical material and/or present same at semi-annual sales meetings as requested
- Maintain sufficient customer files and or records as necessary in an organized and efficient manner
Education/Qualifications & Experience
· A Bachelor of Science in Chemistry preferred
· Three to five years field experience in the oil and gas industry required
· Experience in oil and gas operations sufficient to provide effective solutions in production, gathering, and midstream applications
· Self-starter, sales driven and goal oriented
Knowledge and Skills
- Effective time management, organization, and multi-tasking skills with the ability to work well under pressure
· Ability to manage multiple projects
· Exceptional people skills to interact effectively with customers and Water Tech team at all levels
· Strong written and verbal communications skills with the ability to lead a discussion within any setting
· Demonstrate proficient computer skills in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
Physical Abilities
· There is frequent need to sit, stand, stoop, walk, lift heavy objects, climb ladders, work in confined and elevated spaces, and perform other similar actions
· Must be able to work in hot and cold climates, inside and outside
· Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits the employee to communicate effectively
