Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled travel Physical Therapist (PT) to join our talented team. - The location is in Yuma, Arizona
- The working schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
- The duration is 13 weeks as a contractor
- The anticipated start for this role is two weeks after an accepted offer
- Holiday, On-call or Weekend requirements
- The pay: $58.75 Hourly ($1,520.00 Taxable, $830.00 Stipend) = $2,350.00 Weekly = $9,400.00 Monthly Gross

Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with patients to learn about their physical condition and symptoms and review their medical history and referrals from doctors or surgeons
- Diagnose movement dysfunction by listening to patients and observing them as they move about
- Develop an individualized treatment plan
- Coach patients and teach them therapeutic exercises and stretches to improve their condition
- Use hands-on therapy such as massage to ease patients pain and provide stimulation to promote healing
- Maintain patient records by keeping track of goals and progress while adapting treatment plans accordingly
- Advise patients and their families on in-home treatment options and what to expect from the recovery process
- Communication skills for communicating diagnoses, test results and available treatments in terms that clients and their families can understand
- Compassion when working with individuals frustrated by the difficulties they are experiencing
- Critical thinking skills for adjusting treatment plans as required and identifying alternative ways to help
- Attention to detail for maintaining notes on treatment and progress
- Listening skills for listening to concerns and symptoms of clients so they can decide the most appropriate course of treatment
Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapy Arizona license
- Recent Physical Therapy experience in a rehab setting
- BLS Certification
