Overview

Waters Corporation is always looking to hire outstanding future talent for our company. The Global Clinical Diagnostics team is looking to hire a Business Analytics Intern to support the team's goals for the coming year. This internship is a great opportunity to gain real-world experience while working at the world's leading specialty measurement company. This internship will last approximately ten weeks and the program will commence in the spring into summer of 2024.   Waters is laser focused on:   Groundbreaking Life-Science Innovation: With our scientific expertise, we aim to solve problems that matter. Typical tasks of the position include, but are not limited to

  • Updating analytics reports – SmartSheet dashboards, SalesForce (Compass) reports, etc.
  • Data entry – post testing reports for tracking compliance of clinical reviewers.
  • Project management deliverables.
  • Use of SmartSheet for reporting, training will be provided.
  • Weekly reports sent to regulatory team.
  • Escalation metrics data entry.
  • Writing process maps/flow charts.
  • Follow up on forecast requests from Regional Service Leadership.

Qualifications specific to this role:

  • The intern must have knowledge of the basic principles and practices of accounting and financial analysis.
  • Business and international business backgrounds with finance and accounting, or related disciplines are also encouraged to apply.
  • Assist with month-end financial reports.
  • Passion for technology and innovation.
  • Independent, task oriented and proficient with time management.
  • Organized and adaptable to changing priorities, attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Tools; Word, PowerPoint, and Excel & SmartSheet, training will be provided.
