Intern, Consumables Research and Development

Overview

• Chemistry department - portfolio team for new columns, reagents and enzymes for the analysis of gene therapeutics
• Project -testing the cleavage specificity of proteases used in the compositional analysis of proteins and viral vectors

Responsibilities

• Planning and conducting experiments• Sample preparation, Liquid chromatography- mass spectrometry based analysis• Investigating optimal conditions• Data analysis and interpretation• Documentation of the activities, data storage, presentation of the findings to team• Identification of future work activities to build the momentum

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate student completing a course in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy
• Interest in Cell and Gene Therapy technology especially mRNA drugs
• Analytical Skills and curiosity to learn.
