Reporting to the Sr Director of R&D and Scientific Development, TA Instruments, this role of Scientific Development Applications Director owns the Research and Development Applications team who provides advance technology consultancy supporting the product innovation and lifecycle. The Scientific Applications Development team leader is part of the innovation leadership team who along with their team will actively participate in early applications' research, M&A due diligence team, scientific voice in strategy to roadmap development and execution.
This team will work on multiple R&D projects in collaboration with internal and external researchers and applied engineering teams. They will be integral to all aspects of the research & development new product development lifecycle such as formulating problems, gathering data, generating hypotheses, developing models, conducting experiments, synthesizing results, testing Proof of Concepts, and communicating the novel applications for the market segments.
