Job Summary
The IV/PICC Nurse is a Registered Nurse who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing patients individualized IV access needs, developing a specific plan related to IV Therapy needs and implementing and evaluating an individualized plan for each patient.
Minimum Education
Nursing Associate Degree or Completion of an Accredited Nursing Diploma Program. Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
Certifications/License
Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) within 30 days of hire. Requires a current North Carolina or compact state Registered Nurse license upon hire.
Minimum Work Experience
1 year of experience in a health care setting

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
