Position Summary:
The family care center staff nurse provides quality care to our customers and performs those functions delegated and assigned by the center's head nurse.
Training and Continued Education
Opportunities for further education and training are available to our employees.
Minimum Education
- Graduation completed from a school of nursing and current licensure by the Virginia State Board of Nursing to practice as a practical nurse required.
- Minimum of one-year medical office experience with proven display of knowledge and skills preferred.
Required Licenses
- Current LPN license required.
- BLS required within 30 days of hire date.
- Must possess a working knowledge of medication use and administration.
- Experience documenting in an electronic medical record highly recommended.
