Position Summary:

Responsible for the day-to-day operation and technical aspects of the assigned section by planning, organizing, and facilitating the daily activities of the personnel assigned to their specific section. Age specific needs of our patients are considered and met in the above activities (from the neonate to geriatric patients).

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree in medical technology or chemical, physical, or biological science and graduate of an NAACLS approved laboratory training program as applicable to the position. May also qualify under route 2, 3 or 4 of the ACSP Board of Certification.

Required Certification:
Must be registered as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or American Medical Technologist (AMT).

Other:
5 years' experience as a Medical Technologist (ASCP) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (ACSP) in a clinical Laboratory setting.
2 years' experience in related laboratory section. Categorical or Specialty in area of expertise.
