Introduction to Wave Neuroscience
Wave Neuroscience's goal is to empower and optimize brain function. We have innovated a method that improves non-invasive neuromodulation technology to address a wide range of neurological disorders, as well as enhanced cognitive performance, using non-pharmacological methods. Our company focus is to provide the opportunity for everyone to receive an EEG. In doing so, we can educate and bring awareness to how our individual brains work, and how to optimize function through various methodologies using EEG guidance.
Job Description / Position Summary
Will be responsible for data management and analysis of clinical data that is collected as part of clinical practice and clinical studies/trials. Will contribute statistical plans to clinical trials and analyze data resultant from those trials. Will be expected to data mine output from clinical scales, scores, and time series biometric data to provide insight into relations within the data.
Will support the generation of journal/conference papers, providing statistical analysis (e.g., student-t test, ANOVA,PCA, k-means clustering) of data to generate tables, charts, etc. Also, will support ongoing clinical studies by organizing data and creating reports, tables, figures, etc. to establish effect. Will be expected to train, apply, and implement artificial neural networks and mass regression.
This position will involve coordination with a number of employees, including the clinical team, doctors, coordinators, technicians, and clinical sites to ensure data collection is complete and accurate. The position will support patent generation for inventions related to digital signal processing. Experience with or capability to run statistical and machine learning, including supervised and unsupervised artificial neural networks, regularization methods (ridge, lasso regression), linear models, generalized additive models, ordinal models, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, hypothesis testing preferred.
The position requires proficiency with analysis in using Python and standard statistics software packages. Experience with machine learning and large datasets preferred. Familiarity with digital signal processing is preferred. ASA accreditation preferred.
