Wavenet, a manufacturer for low voltage communication cables selling to distributors all across the United States and Canada, is currently seeking an Installer Specialist to join our team.
About the Job: Two Installer Specialists, part-time and full-time positions are available at Wavenet, Inc.
Job Responsibilities
Call installers, contractors, systems engineers, designers, consultants and end-users
Request for project opportunities such as bill of materials (BOMs), request for quotation (RFQ), cross-referencing and product specifications
Identify opportunities with Wavenet’s wire & cable, cable management and connectivity product solutions
Qualify sales leads and record information into data system such as ACT!, Excel or equivalent
Mail/email catalogs, sales flyers, product samples and promotional materials
High level of outbound and proactive calls to create and identify opportunities
Discuss product offerings and provide soft selling and/or cross-selling solutions
Work with Wavenet’s internal sales representatives, customer service representatives to provide solutions for customers
Report to product manager on progress, results and challenges
Requirements
Low Voltage Wire/Cable knowledge helpful but not required
Effective interpersonal skills & excellent communication skills
Must be organized, able to multi-task and manage time effectively
Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Internet
Database ACT! , ERP/CRM experience
Enjoys talking on the phone and interacting with people
US work authorization
