Summary :

A Maintenance Technician inspects buildings, equipment, and systems for any issues. They also perform general maintenance of the facility and grounds.

Maintenance Technician Description :

• Perform repair and preventative maintenance on equipment, machinery, buildings, and facility grounds across the organization including :
• Concrete floors
• Damaged racking
• Dock doors, levelers, and other dock equipment and property
• Electrical fundamental projects
• Equipment repair
• General construction and carpentry
• Operate machinery including forklift, backhoe, skid steer, plow truck, and other equipment as needed for snow removal, repairs, or test drives.
• Perform plumbing repairs and general heating maintenance.
• Participate in new construction projects and maintenance including design, welding, and carpentry.
• Adhere to all safety standards and practice safe environment work standards.
• All other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.

Requirements :

Maintenance Technician Requirements :

• Certified HVAC preferred.
• ARPAC Certified preferred.
• Automation Experience preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of general plumbing, and electrical.
• Ability to read blueprints, building plans, and repair manuals.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Previous verifiable experience in a related field is required.
• Mechanic knowledge of ARPAC and Douglas repack machinery.
• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, and crawl into awkward spaces.
• Must be able to 50 pounds at a time.

Compensation details : 15-23 Hourly Wage
